[Bug 96084] Re: boot - /bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off

i am pulling my hair out!!! Why can't ubuntu fix this "can't access tty" bug; the live cd works beautifully on my "Dell Inspiron; too the same CD home to my PC and cant boot. There must be a fix. Help! -- boot - /bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/96
