Ok, so I installed the driver from marvell as Andreas Simon recommended
and things have been going great for two days now... Hope that helps

I have a FREAKISHLY similar hardware setup (have we been reading the
same posts? ;) ) and have experienced the exact same thing as of last
night. I've been surfing launchpad all day and have come across the same
problem/solution. The one weird thing was it took about a week for the
problem to pop
