"sudo update-apt-xapian-index" did make things better. But there is some
other strange behavior of QuickSearch, e.g., with key word "linux", all
those "linux-*" packages won't show up, but with "linux-", they,
together with many other packages, will show up.

When press Fn+F2, Fn+F3 or Fn+F4 once, the system will take it as twice,
which can be verified with showkey -s or showk
The bug no longer exists in Ubuntu 9.10.
