Binary package hint: gdm
jaunty 9.04 updated to karmic 9.10 on a netbook remix install. I was using
automatic (passwordless) login. it was disabled after one of the gdm updates.
I want to setup the automatic login again. now, there is no menu entry for
"login window" und
It doesn't appear that setting automatic login manualy works either.

gdm doesn't seem to respond to any of the file-based configurations I make
either. Isn't that a bigger issue than the lack of a GUI tool?

I installed the mountall deb package from
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mountall/0.1.3/+build/1244254
manually... now i cant boot the system into any of the installed
kernels, not even in single user mode.
