I have a wired connection. And I recently changed my modem to a much newer
one. I've been having issues recently, which seemed to spawn from an updated
vbox. I have ubuntu running as quest on windows 7. After the update of vbox,
my connection would be very strange, at start up of Firefox, everythin
I think that given the fact that Ubuntu is free, its pretty good for an
operating system, even though sometimes it does come with hick ups. But I am
sure thats something, Ubuntu developers will strive to get ironed out in the
future. But like I said, its pretty good for being free.

Thanks Jeroen, I will try this tonight, when I get home. I don't really care
if it comes as an update or a work around, as long as it works. So thanks
for the tip.

This has nothing to do with wireless, since it also does not work with wired
connection, like the one I have. Please check this bug posting, this bug is
a duplicate:
