Kubuntu 6.10 Lenovo 3000 N200
Will work only after first suspend. When suspend to ram after the
computer will hang with the word linux in the upper left corner.
Hibernate seems to work fine.

I have a Lenovo 3000 N100 usin kubuntu 6.10 edgy eft.
This this problem seemed to be intermitant. I discovered that if I am
running on AC I am able to do shutdown or reboot from the desktop most
of the time. One out of five or six hang. I do not get a splash screen.
I either just get a blank scree

This morning I've upgraded my KDE 3.5.7 to KDE 3.5.8.
I've used this repository, deb http://kubuntu.org/packages/kde-358 feisty main
, because I'm using Kubuntu Feisty.
So when I've tried to open System Settings, it crashed!

I decided to try this a different way. Originally I had done an upgrade from
edgy to feisty. The sound failed. I went back and formated the hard disk and
did a clean install of feisty. The sound works again but at reduced volume.
If you need me to I may consider going back and recreating the origin
Hi JoathanI have switched from Kubuntu to Kubuntu 64 bit. I do not have
this problem with 64bit OS.

I always have this problem since upgrade to 7.10. Does not require a
suspend. Alway the same. The output

Originally when using amarok everything looked normal. The VU meter and such
reacted as if sound was playing. But there was no sound. After one of the
updates the kmix icon displayed the red x. Before kmix looked normal and all
channels were open but no sound.

Nael I solved this problem on my laptop by adding this line.
TerminateServer=True
to /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc in the [X-:*-Core] section.
