Actually I got it working by reverting back to UTC hardware clock. Looks
like wakealarm expects UTC time instead of localtime (which is what
/proc/acpi/alarm wanted).

Hi,
The latest switch and apparently an upgrade of snd-hda-intel from linux-
image to linux-ubuntu-modules broke sound of my Asus M2NPV-VM. The mixer
only shows two channels (master and PCM) and no sound can be heard.

This is sndstat output from linux-image-2.6.22-9-generic. Looks like the
problem is that the chip (Analog Devices AD1986A) is detected as
"generic" by the newer driver.

Looks like commit b827ca9a87aac6affcc84563211fe27598529e0f could be the
culprit. Defining CONFIG_SND_HDA_GENERIC seems to disable some stuff in
hda_codec.c, such as finding the proper codec.

Something has definately happened since fix of bug #129226, my suspend
has broken since that. I don't get any errors anymore in syslog, so I
guess this is a different bug from the Macbook patch originated one.
This is on Asus M2NPV-VM and Athlon X2 4600+.
