this bug was in the Ubuntu version 7.10 too. To copy files to phone i
have used kbluetooth and that works.
Now in intrepid is the new KDE4 and the kbluetooth4 don't work so i am
looking for a bugfix for gnome bluetooth-applet

This problem was present in karmic, upgrading to lucid didn't change anything
and I tried to manually compile the last stable radeon drivers
(xf86-video-ati-6.13.0) and it still doesn't solve the problem.
So, at least for my board :

Using Ubuntu 11.10, compiz is causing major lag when moving windows.
Any window movement will lag the system to a crawl. If you move windows
fast enough, it will eventually lose track of where the mouse pointer
is, and you end up moving the window without being on the titleba
The mouse has absolutely nothing to do with this. I just tested with my
touchpad, and it has the same effect with the mouse losing it's position
over the titlebar.
