I have tried up grading to 10.10 from a 10.04 kde desktop. I cant seem to open
ubuntu up with Gnome i receive a blank screen but mouse seems to work.

instructions below and the upgrade was successful. I am now reporting another

i cant seem to find KDE to attach the following: under KDE attach the
files from /var/log/dist-upgrade.
