I believe this has been a problem for sometime now. I've had same
problems with previous releases but been unable to more closely pinpoint
problem so I've just ignored going with either a wired connection or
rebooting into windows to use w
I can confirm the same problem, I've found a sorta work around. But its
rather annoying and only works half the time...

Yes, I am having this problem with Gusty. I only seem to have the
problem when I was using the firmware cutter, when I use ndiswrapper no
problem.

Seems to be only a problem while using fwcutter, i do not have this
problem while using ndiswrapper.
