Confirmed again in natty. I have observed that the problem happens when
the executable file is located in an external mount point. It is
mounting other computer's hard disk in the local network, by sshfs.

Working with icons in the desktop with chromium minimized, I clicked in
the chromium icon on the left in order to raise it back but unity
disappeared. Changing to vt1 I saw the compiz crash in dmesg.

I think I have got in the same bug and it's perfectly reproducible with
a different path of actions:
1. Go to twitter and mark the "make me geolocalizable" option.
2. Go to a web page where they allow you to tweet something and click in the
given button
