I too can confirm this. All that happens when you click an apt url is
that it opens up a dialog box asking which application to use to open
it. This is with the released version of ubuntu.

live cd but now all I get is a black screen by default. The machine does boot

This affects me. It seems what is happening is that this change isn't
getting propagated up to the Google Reader account. This means that when
the source is updates it pulls the list from the Google Reader account
which doesn't include the updated feeds and deletes the new feeds. I
can't figure out

Still the same problem in Karmic. Only difference is that no text is
shown and there is no need for me to enter the password on resume. I
will try out the mainline kernel and see if that makes a difference.

The issue exist in the mainline kernel. I doesn't even come back to the
desktop like it does with the ubuntu kernel. It starts up again but does

update. Now the kernel is giving errors about non-ecc memory everytime I

Good point actually. Yeah I think I will have to backup to a different
folder. It's just that a full backup obviously takes longer than an
