when upgrading from 8.10 to 9.04 my /boot somehow became read-only.
Upgrader crashed and a very painfully slow attempt to downgrade back to the old
setup / recover itself.
had to re-mount /boot and do dpkg -r and apt-get -f install.

Its not just the 'Dell Mini 9' it's also HP Mini's!
This is pretty serious, I'm surprised 10.04 went live with this bug, especially
now that netbooks are so big.
