For example: I was reading the help for the mouse and I was on the page
for the mouse preferences which explain that we can modify the mouse for
left-handed and the speed of the mouse. But I wanted to directly modify
these preferences (or maybe just click on a link that launch the
application that

I deleted ~/.config/monitors.xml, configured dual monitors in amdcccle
and then rebooted. The monitors went back to cloned screes.
Also, there is no difference between xorg.conf before and after amdcccle

I've have the same problem.
I go into amdcccle (Administrative), change to dual monitor setup and click
apply. Change happens immediately and everything works. I then reboot and the
change has reverted and I'm back to cloned screens.

I second the fact that the default tap sensitivity should be higher. On
my Dell laptop (using Synaptics touchpad), it's almost impossible to
click with a tap. You need to try several times before inputting
successfully a click.

The "Restart" icon in the "Shut Down..." menu (accessible through the
Ubuntu menu) has an incorrect 22x22 (24x24 ?) size, while it should
probably be set to 48x48. See attached screenshot.

Ok -it works now. I didn't notice the "Settings for" dialog before.
Seems that the first time I did the right click, the dialog was not
selecting the right panel. After selecting the right panel manually
once, every works perfectly

Problem still present in Kubuntu 7.04beta
This is really annoying when trying to install Kubuntu at work.
This also may explain why some people are reporting Kubuntu 7.04 instalation
problem (installer hangs at 82% - you have to disconnect the network)

Is there a fix planned for the bug I mentioned above? (wacom.fdi file
still failing to identify some tablets as such). Not a big deal if
you're comfortable with doing some search and editing config files, but
could be a deal breaker for new users.
