Update: Success! Synaptic Package Manager doesn't actually completely uninstall the program. Only after I uninstalled, then manually removed the .miro file, did reinstalling make a positive difference. Now all is cool. In case anyone else is crashing into the same wall... Thanks for a *great* appl
