i also get a bug when creating new classes on existing projects..(some
error message).. why cant u guys still upgrade it to 6.5 in intrepid?

hi.. when i try to create a new class on a project i click on the finish
button (the class actually gets created ) and then this error occurs :
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.log4j.Logger
at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:200)
at java.security.Acces
sorry this is a netbeans 6.1 error... i havent used 6.5 so i dont know
if it also has that problem

hi there.. i have liblog4j-1.2-java , i create a normal java project.. and add
a class in the normal way(i didnt have this problem in the previous ubuntu) im
using ubuntu 8.10 and installed only netbeans and jdk trough synaptic
any more ideias?

so guys, as a simple user should i wait for an update(that i hope its
released tomorrow) where u guys do whatevar you have to do (downgrading
and stuff), or i have to downgrade manually?this thing is slower and
buggier than ever.. i cant be on myspace.com without it crashing..just

When i use the feature to download subtitles in totem, the movie plays ok with
the subtitles. But after it finishes the next movie in the playlist gives an
error msg and never starts.

wiswaud didnt work for me.. i tried installing the compiled packages no
results (doesnt even connect)..and i cant compile the wireless for my
kernel for some kinda reason (error 2) ... i would have to recompile the
all kernel according to some forums to fix that i dont really feel
like... hows the
wiswaud - after a fresh install i did have the same problem as evryone
else (frequent disconnections) but i tried ur workaround (installed the
backport packages for karmic) and with that it doesnt even connect..You
say the latest kernel update works?should i remove those backport
packages then?

I realized the problem is at least with Wpa/Wpa2 .. it connects and
works without any problem when the theres no protection (at least that i
tried)

still having the same problem with the final version of karmic...
anyways im trying to use wicd and its not working (with and without the
backports enabled in the repos) can anyone give me their settings? i it
authenticates by the way but doesnt get an Ip.. i tried setting it
static but cant really
i was able to fix my problem by changing my router's encryption to wpa2
(AES)im using network manager...so the problem is related to wpa
only i guess

because i have some users that are non technical people and telling them
to CTRL + DEL + F1 is not a great way

tried upgrading to maverick RC and i am having problems with boot speed.
i read the solution but i cant seem to apply them. first
what is boot parameters? i try adding this line when the boot drops to a shell
or something. but it says /bin/sh: intel_idle.max_cstate=0 not found..
please help

3.2.0-38 works fine. but update 3.2.0-39 and the new one 3.2.0-40 freeze my
system after a while and i have to turn of my computer on the button.
I also have an intel graphic card.

this worked for me after i exited dropbox and:

Please uninstall the client by running rm -rf ~/.dropbox-dist or sudo rm -rf

I had no problems on lucid.. upgraded to maverick and my wireless is extremely
slow.. also using iwl3945 ..i should add that i tried installing
linux-backports-modules-wireless-maverick-generic but had no luck...
what should i do?? should i leave it installed? it there a fix coming out??
