i have downloaded feisty herd 2 and have tried to install it on my dell
precision m70 laptop (this also happened with herd 1)
boots up ok, click install but when i click next after step 4 the screen
just seems to crash and shows brown and white lines

I initially use the networking to configure everything like ssid, password

If I use dhcp and then check with iwconfig it does associate, however if I
