I did a fresh install of intrepid beta today with kernel 2.6.27-4 and
everything was working fine.
But when I upgraded to kernel 2.6.27-7 I had again the bug described above
though the fix was released and worked until now.
Here's the dmesg with kernel 2.6.27-7. I will test now if this happens wi
this bug happens again with recent update to 2.6.27-7 after the beta
(2.6.27-4)

At bootup I end up in busybox and I see the following message on the top of the
screen "Gave up waiting for root device"
Actually I think that my hard drive "falls asleep" just after leaving grub.
When I'm in the busybox I need to unplug my hard drive (serial ata) and to plu
I only installed Ubuntu Intrepid alpha 3 and I updated it. The first
boot everything seemed to work well, gnome started normally and the next
boot That problem started. Impossible to log into gnome: every gtk
application just can't start.

removed it and it seems to work again. I should not have reported a bug.

I tried several refresh rates from 1 to 4 and the graphs are jerky
If I set 0.25 0.50 or 0.75 it is smooth but the graph goes too fast and uses
100% CPU and that's not the purpose of a cpu activity graph to eat all cpu
ressources :p

I think the importance of this bug should be higher than "Wishlist" because
it's a big usability issue for a such common thing.

Solved by deleting ~/.pulse folder.
(No need to remove pulseaudio)
