I have tested in the Live and in the Installed versions.
If I set the output in the output tab from the sound preferences to
"analog output", in the live version the sound is played in both
connectors (front and back), but in the installed only in the back. If I
set the value to "analog headphones

I've just installed Ubuntu 10.04 and there is no sound in the front jack. The
sound works fine in the back jack.
The problem is that the front jack works fine from the live CD. I have
