Seen in intrepid 64 bit AMD. I see this a lot. I do a lot of suspend to
RAM, it may have something to do with that. Also playing wormux (which
crashes a lot and sometimes takes X - the mouse pointer specifically -
with it). So I had to press a bit too often. I'll try

Update: after disabling sound all issues are gone. Two processes seem to
be launched, one for the game and one for sound, probably using inter-
process communication. It seems to me that the game is ill-prepared for
the latest kind of processors that introduce more dynamic timing. Sound

Ubuntu.
2 different sound cards, 2 different video cards (AMD & NVidia)
I've had quite a few problems with armagetron and sound, and I would not
be terribly surprised if it has something to do with that.

I second this. As SSD's become more common, it should be possible to use
one without too much fuss for regular users. Editing fstab is certainly
not for regular users. Not using trimming can become a problem real fast
if data is changed a lot on the drive.

After switching my SDD over from my desktop (to test it) to my laptop,
the AMD GPU driver could not be removed. I've now reverted back to using
Intel and nVidia only. My laptop uses Intel, but fglrx driver does not
