An application just crashed and - of course - i wanted apport to collect some
data and send it to launchpad.
Firefox 3.5 was opened on youtube.
What i expected to happen
Apport normaly collects the data, send it to launchpad and open firefox on t

I just installed 3.5 and its not in the list
firefox-3.5-gnome-support is installed but i cant choose ff3.5 as default

/boot ext4 ~200mb on /dev/sda
lvm as crypted_lvm on /dev/sda
the lvm includes / with ext4 and swap, both encrypted
i didnt change anything, just a fresh install... the same happened
with "it just stops booting" i mean of course the message from
cryptsetup "bad password, options..."

I found the Problem... during installation i choosed the german language...
As i restarted the keyboard layout has been changed (dont know why).
My password included a "z" - when i change the occurance of every "z" to "y" it
boots

same problem here, in window mode i can watch flash movies
but when i try the fullscreen mode something kills my system and i have to kill
the process in a terminal (npviewer.bin)

looks like this is a jvm (bad garbage collector) problem
some people said i should reduce the perm gen space to prevent the system to
crash, others said i should rise it
when i rise it: everything works but much much slower... and slower... until
the system freezes
when i decrease it: everythin
for me it was an oops and the whole system freezes - and imo this is a
big problem when my system freezes

i deleted /usr/share/doc because i dont need all that documentation (have less
space...)
would be nice if the installation still works because i dont think this is a
big failure if the documentation is missing, so the installation should not
abort, but it does
