Confirming that the proposed totem works, but I have two errors

Oopppss... the 2.0MP HP Webcam work with cheese but as mention in the

More info: I have been tsting the HP 2.0MP webcm on skype 2.1.
Ubuntu 9.10 is able to detect the microphone function of the HP cam and
can be used in skype and other apps. But video does not work in skype.
It may be connected to the resolution that the camera is currently set.
Unfortunately I
Karmic Live CD will still not work but forcing it to install immediately
with the vesa driver and manually install the 185 driver should work.
I'm using 9.04 with this driver and everything is fine. This workaround
would be recommended if the 185 driver will not be integrated in the
9.10 rele

Regarding nettops, this does not affect nettops with the nvidia ION
chipset. I'm using a ZOTAC ION A series that works perfectly with
ubuntu 9.10. Based on Nuno's observation, the bugs affects all Intel
netbooks - Atom with 945 chipset, but mainly MSI from what I've

GNU/Linux specifically Ubuntu OS has grown
This bug looks like it conincides with a compiz crash/bug. Will try to
