It's a GTK2 bug, as pointed by others in this thread: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=427431 I'm almost sure that it also occurs in the Eclipse IDE, when editing reports using BIRT - scrolling it's as sluggish as in Firefox. Is there a current Firefox based on Motif or something else
