I also cannot connect to the Internet using 9.04. I connect using a
wireless card (ACX 111). I can connect with an older kernel, but not
with 2.6.28.8. I imagine that the driver needs to be updated, but I am
not an expert. I wonder even if this is related to the one above.

I am using Ubuntu 7.10 and my screensaver starts up it locks up the

I tried replacing Azureus2.jar with Azureus2.5.0.4, as suggested above,

I am using using Ubuntu 7.04 with kernel 2.6.20-15-generic as well.

The only composite manager I have is compiz, which is part of the
default installation. I cannot uninstall it because ubuntu-desktop is
dependent on it.
If there is a way to disable compiz without uninstalling it, I do not
know.

The composite manager that I am using is compiz, which I believe is the
standard Ubuntu composite manager. I even tried installing compiz-dev
and all dependencies, still no luck drawing the "view as list" window.
If you look at the title bar on the window I took a screenshot of,
you'll notice that
According to synaptic I do have the latest version of python-apt and I
am still getting this crash with the same error as above.
