When I press the "calculator" button on my keyboard, the calculator
application is usually launched (this worked in Gutsy). In Kubuntu
Hardy, it immediately causes kded to crash. Pressing the button again
after this does nothing. After this, none

Linux (works flawlessly by the way except for this problem!). About 50% of the
time, when I boot Ubuntu, the device is not detected. I can tell when this
happens because Kaffeine cannot see the dev
I've just installed Kubuntu Gutsy and can confirm that this behaviour
(as described in the original bug report) is now back. It was present in
Edgy, fixed in Feisty and it's back in Gutsy.

The attachments after the first post were added by Feisty's crash
handler when I logged in after the crash. However, this reported a crash
happened in kdeinit. Is it the case that kdeinit starts all the kde
applications, so if one of these crash (like akregator) it means kdeinit
crashed? If this is
