Binary package hint: clamtk
upgrading from ubuntu 7.10 to ubuntu 8.04, first failure is that netbase
won't upgrade/install, later on lots of others, this one among them.

I had something similar, but I think that it startet with not being able
to upgrade/install netbase.

Configuration problem due to depencies for clamtk
clamtk dependant on libwww-perlbut:
dpkg: failure configuring clamtk
I have solved the problem bye, running:
438 sudo apt-get update
439 sudo apt-get upgrade
440 sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
all failed
442 sudo apt-get -f purge netbase
s is still an issue

The new package solves the problem, just run the following commands.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get install fglrx
go to system, administration, proprietary drivers and enable the driver
reboot
every thing ok
(driver version 2:8.780-0ubuntu1, kernel 2.6.35-22)
