"Official" fglrx packages for Ubuntu gutsy (xorg-driver-fglrx & c.) are
still at 8.37.6.
I understand that 7.11 (and even the previous 8.x.x) weren't packaged
for Ubuntu because they were considered unstable even by ATI.

I'm on Gutsy now and this same problem is still there. I've got an ASUS
W3Z. Internal mousepad works fine after resume, USB mouse don't. Haven't
tried with other USB devices.
Of course, suspend wouldn't work at all if I used fglrx for my damned
Radeon Xpress 200M, but that's another story...
