I just tested. I compiled the patch with gspca-01.00.20 from debian sid
and it's fixed the issue as far as I can tell, although I have only
tested with mplayer so far not skype or anything else. It probably will
work with the source from hardy, I was doing it wrong at first I think,
so I downloaded
I'd like to confirm that this bug still exists. I'm using a nvidia 6200
on intrepid beta. Think I'm using 177.76. Happens not just on maximised
windows, and very regularly. Happy to provide more information if
someone can let me know what would be useful.

Imported Google account (from Pidgin) not connecting

I'm not convinced that this is fixed. I'm running a fresh install (as of
this morning) of karmic rc (bindwood 0.4.2-0ubuntu2), and having
bindwood installed means firefox is unresponsive for the first minute or
so that it is open. I have ~100 bookmarks.
