Same issue with a Lenovo T480s with Intel graphics. Blank screen upon
resume after suspend. Mouse cursor works, can CTL+ALT+F1 to a command
prompt. Was working properly until last week, but had this issue 2 times
over 2 days. Machine is routinely kept up to date.
Hardware:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-865

(dev/sda3)
14.04 beta 2 was newly installed into its own partition (dev/sda4)
System was left unbootable and broken because Grub could not be found at
boot time.
To try and fix the problem I used the bo
I found if I Quit the installation and returned to the Live Ubuntu 14.04
desktop, I could restart the installation and then it would work. I was
able to repeat this more than once.

Slightly different but related issue. Can suspend with by closing the
lid which didn't work in 15.10, although only without an external
monitor plugged in. But upon resume getting a hardware lockup and freeze
nearly 100% of the time. Initially

If the power adapter is plugged in (with power) the mouse works
perfectly as well as the track pad. If the power adapter is unplugged
the mouse freezes after about 10 seconds of inactivity. Plug the adapter
back in and it works again after being unplugged and plugged in again.

problem down. I've experienced the hanging problem apparently randomly
and without USB devices attached. It seems to happen most when I'm using

Yes, this has been happening to me running Ubuntu 12.10 x64 and
LibreOffice Version 3.6.2.2 (Build ID: 360m1(Build:2)) the dialog boxes
are not displaying. When it occurs all dialogs won't display which
requires closing all LO documents and reopening them. Then they'll
usually turn on.
