ctrl + alt + L works, indicator doesnt.

works with this error:

causes include: the remote app
problem disappeared in 2.6.31-14-generic x64 when i unplugged my ide
dvd-rw and boot without it. and after reboot i 've plugged it back.
everything has been working fine from that moment till now.

I ve managed to fixe this with some bios setup:
Try to put SWDMA (Small Word DMA) to yours CD/DVD setup. It is in General tab
or something like this.

When i've lunched usb-creator, iso1 was automatically select by program.
When i've changed it to iso2 -- and press ok, nothing had been changed.

There is 3 jacks at left panel: mic, headphone, headphone. Also system has
buildin speackers. They doesnt work.
1) I've tried with alsamixer and pavucontrol - no luck.
2) Tried with different modprobe options like options snd-hda
Looks like it was fixed at 12.04.03. Login screen is on monitor with
mouse on it.

I've tried with and without this options (dell-m6-amic) without luck.
Yesterday i've installed latest alsa driver (ppa night build), but without luck
either.

Havent found any packages with sound drivers. There was something like that for

Cant reproduce this bug after reboot. For now all works as should do.

No it doesn't change to zero.
I've made some other tests:
For sound device management i've lunched pavucontrol.
Output Devices: Build-in Audio Analog Stereo there is 2 devices. Headphones
and Speakers.
1)If i mute Speakers all works as expected:
a) no speaker so
