myspell-de-de was not installed, but hunspell-de-de and language-

installing myspell-de-de removed hunspell-de-de and language-support-

the "switch-desktop" tool and switched from netbook-launcher to normal
desktop, activated compiz, played around, deactivated compiz and went
back to the netbook-launcher. From there on, FUSA only shows a vertical

Just had the same problem and the hint with the display device pointed me in
the right direction: I enabled VNC for my desktop some days ago (port 5900) and
did not use the VM until today. Since the VM was configured to use the same
port for VNC the startup failed.

I reinstalled Intrepid using the current NetInst. In this case the tablet does
not work _at all_ after installation. Without knowledge of this bug-report I

I have the same issue with a Nikon D40 camera loaded with a 4GB SDHC card on
ubuntu 8.04 (i386) and 8.10(amd 64bit). The mount works fine with Ubuntu 7.04

BTW: I tried Foresight Linux and X plus the compiz effects works for me.
Until today. I always starts the compiz effects with "compiz --replace". Since
today X freeze after i started compiz and it fails -even if i reboot.

Hi Leann,
I'll try to reproduce the error after work, and attach the requested
files.
My device uses the rt73usb driver. The error occurred, when I was
downloading a huge file via http and was surfing at the same time. But I
have to say, that I only experienced this problem twice. I have been

What I should add: This is a Network-manager problem. Not a kernel problem. As
it is with every kernel from 2.6.22-14 to 2.6.27-7
and booting without Network-manager is a workaround for everyone who can
manualy configure the network.
But shuting down Network-manager is not sufficient.

I've got the same problem, also on a Macbook Pro.
All works fine while being using the network via eth0. Once I unplug the
cable and use wirelees, after about 5 to 10 minutes I get the "DMA: Out
of SW-IOMMU space for..." message
Using 64bit Intrepid & 4 GB of RAM.
