Public bug reported:
Using 13.10 on my laptop (Asus X201e), the system goes into suspend mode
when I close the lid. When opening the lid and pressing a key, the
system wakes up and asks me for my password.
I'm not having this problem anymore. This problem disappeared a while
ago, though I don't think I did anything special.
*shrug*
I'm still running Dapper if that matters.

I havn't had this problem in a while.
I've recently upgraded to Feisty Beta and have been listening to
rhythmbox a lot. If I get a crash, I'll try to be useful.

Things seem pretty good now that I'm using Edgy.
I get a nice little error dialog when the server is unavailable now.
I'll try listening for a few hours and see if rhythmbox crashes.

I hope this is helpful. I installed the rhythmbox-dbg package, if that
makes a difference.
Program received signal SIGINT, Interrupt.

Public bug reported:
Since v87 Chromium ships with support for Ozone/Wayland:
https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=Chrome-87-Ozone-Try-Again.
This build flag is not disabled in dev (edge) channel build, so it should be
possible to run Chromium with flags
--enable-features=UseOzo
Good point. I did not go that far.
I can only attest that it should work when packaged correctly. This
comment is being written from (Google branded) Chrome Unstable with
these flags and it runs pure Wayland.

Ubuntu 14.04, GDM and gnome 3.12.1 from the gnome-staging PPA.
Also confirming that the workaround from comment #12 resolves this for
me. I have selected the System Default session from the gear beside the
Login button in GDM.
