I can confirm the bug as it has previously been described. I'm using a laptop
without external keyboard and I'm running 9.04 with all stable updates.

I have the same problem.
Using compiz 0.7.8 under ubuntu 8.10, GNOME 2.24.1
Which library do I need to update in order to fix this? I can't find
"libcompizconfig-backend-gconf" in the Synaptics Package manager.

I experience the same bug since upgrading to Karmic.
I'm running a Thinkpad laptop with an Intel GMA X4500 MHD graphics card.

The problem only occurs if I'm using the touch pad. The built-in
trackpad shows no problems.

Huh, I just found a very simple solution to my problem.

gconf-editor to set the key
-->desktop-->gnome-->peripherals-->touchpad-->disable_while_typing to false.

I experience the same problem in the official 9.10 release. On boot I get the
following message:
My /home folder is on a separate partition. All partitions are ext3 formatted.
I don't know where the dazuko-fs comes from.

I have the same problem when I try recording sounds using a built in microphone
on my laptop.
I'm running Ubuntu 10.10, Kernel 2.6.35-22.
I tried it with aoss and I could open the recording menu, but didn't get
any signal from the microphone.

I have the same probleme. With my old .db file, banshee keeps crashing a
few seconds after I start it. The music keeps playing. With a new .db
everything works fine.

I created the log file (previous post) as described by #4.
My banshee.db is 18MB. I'm not sure if I can make such big attachments, but I'm
happy to provide it if anyone is interested.
