Just wondering, any update on this bug? I know this bug does not affect
8.10, although using 8.10 breaks other things on my system, so I have
downgraded to 8.04 again. Still no bugfix?

Hey!
Yeah, I had to use an interrupt to get through the installation. I
figured the installation was hanging, as i left it for over one hour
whilst it was attempting to install, and there was no harddisk activity
or processor activity.
