I don't think so... I get freezes on boot. Also my issue isn't really a freeze, the mouse cursor just stops working. The keyboard works fine. I can get my cursor working again by putting the laptop to sleep and waking it up again. I suspect it might have to do with acpi or hal, or even the kernel.
