The nm-applet says i'm disconnected and I can't access my static

On the server machine:
netstat -a -n --program | grep 2
shows nothing, so the port doesn't seem to be in use before launching
sshd.
I don't understand why sshd complains about:

address on this pc. The dns server I'm using is the gateway (the adsl router).
This setup works correctly on other computer (with dhcp) but on the ubuntu

the upload has fixed the bug, but the main menu suffers another bug (i
think from netork manager) that the network status read on the menu is
offline whereas network manager reports I'm connected. Other than that,

I can confirm that adding # defoptions=vga=791 quiet splash and
reconfiguring the kernel package worked, although the text is too little
(compared to default resolution in dapper or without usplash running).

usplash looks corrupted and leaves v
usplash's progress bar is in the right place but still black & white. Is
this expected? It's an amd64 arch issue? The progress bar shows
correctly here (i.e no ghost image, but somewhat crappy...)

Anyone with an n800 to try and fix this? I've upgraded my n770 with the
hacker edition of the it2007 and installed lastest dropbear and the
issue remains, so I assume this happens with any internet table
