I have the same problem, also Feisty. After network settings are change
through "Manual Configuration" the nm-applet displays the disconnect and
reconnect to the network. Since DHCP related daemons won't be killed
during reconfiguration, the IP address is obtained from the DHCP server.
ifdown ; if
on and doing a "evolution --force-shutdown",
restart and pressing the JESCS button again another crash followed.
