I'm using Firefox 3.0 now instead of 2.0. Since 3.0 depends on xulrunner adding
sun-java6-plugin now does not bloat my system (system disk is only 4G).
I see that in sun-java6-plugin.postinst the Java plugin is linked to
/usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/plugins/libjavaplugin.so plus some
update-alterna
The packages in question are in hardy-proposed. I guess you can solve
the problem by adding hardy-proposed and install libcamel/libedataserver
from there.

David! Eric committed the change, so let's hope it will make it into
intrepid! This would be one package less in my local repo ;)

possible. Or depend on some virtual packet.

I'am affected on Xubuntu 7.10 (upgraded from 7.04). Firefox version is
2.0.0.6+2nobinonly-0ubuntu1.
Disabling pango by MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO=1 doubles speed on a local copy of
http://scragz.com/tech/mozilla/test-rendering-time. That means from 6.8 s to
3.2 s. My /etc/environment says: LANG="en_US.UT
Problem still present in gutsy. This is a missing upstream feature and
more subtle than bug #32963. Gamma and constrast are fine on my machine.

3.0~alpha8+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 is not affected. Both settings of
MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO bottom out at 2.6 seconds with quite a bit variation upwards.
Firefox 2.0.0.11 is 3.7/1.8 seconds and Swiftfox is 1.4 seconds at the moment.

Yes, I hit this barrier as well. Additionally there is no column
"automatically installed" configurable. I had to use aptitude since it
at least displays the automatically flag.

knowledge lacking here about how a CPU should react when overheating. I
will talk about Intel CPUs here. From the Pentium-M on, Thermal Monitor
