Still nouveau drivers are not working properly for this graphics card.
Though for some reason on Fedora 14 its working perfectly. For others
with an x505 I responded to a posted thread there on how to do a basic
install on this laptop. Reply there if you want more info on getting
bleeding edge pack
I just tried booting with the this kernel option of acpi_osi="Linux" and that
seemed to get rid of some issues and speed up boot time almost 10 seconds. But
the same error is still there I am also seeing other "errors" though they may
not be such as:
EDAC i7core: Device not found: dev 00.0 PCI
Sorry forgot to mention also the battery says its still not present as
well. But seem to get normal battery life out of it. Also lm-sensors
does not detect anything either in case that helps.

gdmsetup and figured out that was because I used sudo before it and if
you do you are not able to unlock it. You have to run just gdmsetup.

plus motherboard. The port is controlled by Jmicron 20363 chipset configured as
an IDE controller. I got exactly the same symptoms with Fiesty 7.04. Because I
