booted to windows 8.1 deleted linux partition coverted it to ntfs had windows 8.1 expand and include the old deleted linux partition now it lets me install the 20.04.1 iso to a point where it says failed to install , but i can boot it off of my dual boot ssd installation but its is basica

ok used windows 8.1 repair disk to fix efi bootloader not that good with computers maybe i got it right and used windows 8.1 repair disk to fix mbr it still did not let my machine install ubuntu 20.04.1 without crashing at end of installation but i pull the usb boot iso and reboot and the grub me
