Hi Phillip (I am asssuming you are a person and not a computer), Perhaps instead of saying "you edited your ...grub file ...and fouled it up" you should write "your grub file was edited ...and fouled up" since I (me, the person) did not edit the grub file. I don't even know what a grub file is.

Well, I made the change. It took a few tries until I figured it out (e.g., I don't have nano; I have gedit), but I made the change and installed the latest updates. The only problem is that now when I boot I get an unwanted OS selection menu from linux. Now I have to try to figure out how to get
