the driver installs. I check using ndiswrapper -l to see if it is there.
Say driver installed and hardware with correct location present. This

I had this same bug and it seems to be fixed now. Here is what I did:
1. Used Update Manager to get the UbuntuOne client update.
2. After rebooting and being asked to add my computer again I added the
computer again.
3. Go to the 'Account' tab in UbuntuOne web interface.
4. Click 'View the machin
The workaround in #15 worked for me.
Perhaps the timeout should be increased in the mscorefonts package to
save people needing to do this workaround?

I have same problem on my ASUS 1005HA 250GB version. Every time I boot

I may have found a fix. I did the sleep/hibernate fix and the

Okay, a fix was posted in the forums while I was reporting this.
Deleting the hidden folder ".pulse" in the user's home directory seems
to fix the problem.
I'm not sure if this was a problem created during the upgrade from Natty
or something that would happen on a fresh install, but it might be
so

Same problem, running Ubuntu 11.10. Updated the kernel last night* and
the issue still persists.
*(I believe it updated to 3.0.0-13-generic, but I'm not at my computer
right now to verify)

@jsalisbury: I tried the 3.2-rc2(i386) kernel, but get no graphics at
all - just a black screen with the backlight on - after selecting it in
GRUB. I assume it's missing the proper graphics driver for the AMD A6,
but I don't know how to add it.

Also, from this black screen-state, pressing the power button does power
the computer off, but it immediately reboots, so I suspect the problem
exists in that kernel as well.

1/ install "Main Menu" using Ubuntu Software Center
2/ open Main Menu (applications/system tools/preferences/main menu)
3/ go to system tools (in Main Menu) and find Bleachbit (as root)
4/ double click Bleachbit (as root)
5/ in Launcher Properties change existing "Command" to:
gksudo b
Confirming that this is still persisting in Oneiric. I had to reboot my
computer to get it to stop.
Also, it won't let me delete all the Google Calendar accounts, and at
one point, one calendar that I had deleted *reappeared* after the
password prompt came up! WTF!?!?!?!?

Holy Cow!! I'm like brand new to Linux (maybe 6 wks now) and I did that

Well, I just updated my system today. I started kate and I now see
submenus under Tools>Highlighting ... so something somewhere was fixed.

Since I upgraded from 10.10 I wasn't sure if some kde config files in my
home directory were the issue from older version of kate. So I moved
~/.kde somewhere else. That didn't help.
I also created a new user to see if it would perhaps work, but it still
was not working.

fine, but once anything is plugged into the headphone jack, the sound
from the speakers mutes like it should, but no sound comes out of the
output device.
