I installed Karmic 64-bit, then upgraded to Lucid 64-bit. Since then, I
decided to move my /usr to a separate partition, which I did
successfully. Now I'm getting the message "error: file not found" on
startup, although Ubuntu still boots.
Could this be due to upgrade, or moving the /usr directory
I think I am suffering from a related bug.
Asrock X370 Taichi, BIOS 5.10 (2018-12-21).
Ryzen 5 2600X.
Radeon RX 580.
Ubuntu 18.04.02 (HWE). I tested with kernel 4.15 and 4.18, no difference.
Can not boot via GRUB with amdgpu driver, unless "amdgpu.dpm=0" is set.

Strange, I'm having a similar issue, though using an AMD video card
(Intel graphics on-board, though. Occasionally, I'll have grey lines
through text. Similar lines appear occasionally through window
decoration.

Due to the implemented fix at bug #1179155, pressing a Desktop Action in
a menu item’s context menu will cause a ~15 second busy cursor if the
Desktop Action does not invoke a new window.
E.g. this works fine:
[Desktop Action NewWindow]
Name=New Window
Exec=f
Additionally, I’ve determined that another long‐standing problem is
likely related to the above issue: I hear soft crackling and popping
through analogue headphone output and HDMI output to amp/speakers and
amp/headphones via Wine applications (such as those mentioned above).
Possibly related: Pop
@pad's workaround (2.) worked great for me (Quantal x86_64, Radeon HD
6870).

1002:6740 Unity does not load after installing fglrx-install
These issues seem to have been largely resolved by installing the
affected programs into a new Wine bottle; the original bottle had been
generated circa Ubuntu 9.10.
