I have a similar problem. When printing the PDF from evince the output
is garbage (like: the left half of the print is printed twice, the right
half is not there at all). When printing the smae file using acrobat
reader everything is fine. Evince displays the file correctly. I'll
attach the file.
This bug is especially annoying when using VPN connections, as the
second user logged in simply can not start VPN connections configured
via nm-applet.

update to comment #2: It's a bother HL2030 actually and it seems to be
every PDF not just the one I linked. This is some kind of regression,
because printing used to work fine for a very long time...

I upgraded to intel 2.15.0 driver (manually compiling from sid sources).
The issue is still there, but I have discovered some log entries whcih
may pinpoint the problem:
from /var/log/Xorg.0.log
[ 27928.379] (II) intel(0): Modeline "1152x864"x0.0 108.00 1152 1216 1344
1600 864 865 868 900 +hs
Bug did not occur for a few days now. I did not see any updates to
xserver intel driver however. There were updates regarding chromium-
browser however. I'll close the ticket now and reopen if the system
freezes again.

PM sound likely as the bug doe not manifest itself when locking the
screen for a short period of time. Only if the screensaver is running
for a prolonged time the bug seems triggered. Is there a way to provide
you with debug information, the system is still responsible an I can log
on using a VT.
Bug is gone after upgrade to 2.6.38-8. I'll close the ticket.

One can export an image sequence (jpeg for not hainv issues with
transparency) and use mencoder to generate a swf file.
mencoder mf://PATH/*jpg -mf fps=24 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=flv
-lavfopts format=swf -of lavf -o foo.swf
where PATH is the directory the images have been stored to.
