when using kubuntu and cheese and pointing a uvc webcam to something in
outdoor light conditions, the exposure is never turned down, making it
so that all you see is a white screen. When using the webcam with
fedora, it will work just fine with cheese.

event with the command that never works, /usr/bin/redshift, but nothing
shows up in /var/log still, or on my terminal.
