Hey, I had the same problemand neither of the /etc/default/acpi- support or lid.sh edits worked for me. However, after googling a bit more I found this temporary solution. "Hit Fn + F7 twice and you should be good to go." Hope this helps -- Screen is garbled after lid close & open on Think
