It seems that package needs to be updated, developer has recently fixed
the issue:
http://builds.clementine-player.org/ubuntu-vivid/
I downloaded the latest version at the moment
(clementine_1.2.3-1118-g4c9f7e6~vivid_amd64.deb) and everything works
just fine.

I'm stuck with this for some time now. I can't even remove mysql-server because
whenever I try to use apt I get:
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to
correct the problem.
because I have to kill the process to get rid of the configure screen.

It is not supposed to reboot, you should do that manually.
Actually, you don't have to reboot, logoff/logon is enough.
If you would like to automate the process, refer to prime-indicator package.

Public bug reported:
I am running Ubuntu Precise 12.04 32-bit. My system was recently updated
to kernel version 3.2.0-51-generic-pae. Since the upgrade, the system
freezes several hours after login and I have to hit the power button to
restart the machine.

Ondrej, what is reasoning behind mandatory space before priority???
Why it can't be:
;priority=30
but it has to be
; priority=30
A bit of flexibility would be appreciated. :)
Following regex will match both ;priority=30 and ; priority=30
priority=$(sed -ne "s/^;[ ]\?priority=\([0-9]\+\)$/\\1/p"
Ha, Ondrej, I did not consider it as a bug. :) I thought it was
intentional. I filed report and I will update the ticket once I get
confirmation email.

Has anyone tried adding radeon.dpm=1 to your grub?
Try:
edit /etc/default/grub and add the 'radeon.dpm=1' to the
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT line, so it would look something like:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash radeon.dpm=1"
