Problem still exists in alpha3
Attached is a gdb backtrace with symbols. If you need anything more,
please let me know. This program (gimv) is really important for me.

gimv crashed with SIGSEGV in gimv
Problem still exists in Karmic, alpha3.
Workaround with an older gtk-lib:
/usr/bin$ cat gimv
#!/bin/sh
LD_PRELOAD=/home/ps/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 exec gimv.orig
file /home/ps/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0
/home/ps/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: symbolic link to `libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.1200.9'

gimageview
It can be patched successfully with:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=459288
Unfortunately, it wont compile with --with-xine so I only have mplayer
thumbnails (which kinda sucks).

If you refer to

Installing python2.4 and changing the files: gdesklets does not segfault
any more, but after "connecting to daemon" nothing happenes. So I'd say
"it helps not really"

Trackstick buttons do not work with 0.8 - Toshiba R840-116
They did work with 0.2, eventhough that version did not work perfect for
me, somehow, it had glitches when I accidently touched the trackstick
while typing (I dont know if my trackstick supports 'double-clicks'
itself).
