Public bug reported:
I don't have the C3 state. My laptop is an HP nc6320 with T2300E cpu.
The same output comes on a sony vaio SZ2M/B (T2300)
cat /proc/acpi/processor/CPU0/power:
active state:C2
max_cstate: C8

Public bug reported:
I can not set the processor speed to its maximum. I have a centrino duo
laptop (hp nc6320 with T2300E cpu)
I can explain that with an example (on cpu1, the same for cpu0):
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/cpuinfo_max_freq
1667000
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpu
Everything's ok with the psmouse rmod trick. HP released a new BIOS to fix that
too.
Thanks for following the bug.
Ciao.

When this delayed-post happens, it also seems to affect the acpi
behavior (same setup as above, but with default edgy packages only).
Battery indicator only works for few minutes, C3 state is sometimes

workaround is to remove a module manually before shutdown. I'm doing
