Yes I did try it with Feisty Fawn 7.04 and found
the same problem. While booting in the Virtual PC
2004, as soon as the display switches to graphics
mode, the display is corrupted. If you know what's on
the screen, you can can enter your username and
password to continue, but the screen remains

I got the same thing installing Ubuntu EdgyEft on Virtual PC 2004 hosted
by Win2K.
When the Ubuntu installation is finished it has the wrong graphics mode
and I don't know how to fix it.
